Picking up literally in the same scene that the last film ended the Muppets soon realise that the cameras aren’t going away, which can mean only one thing, the comeback was a success so they’re getting a sequel.
Have you ever wished you could just blend with your surroundings? If so, you may have a lot in common with Johnny Depp’s latest character, Rango, of course, as a chameleon he’s one step ahead of you.
The movie follows Rango as he makes the transition from the comforts of captivity to the dangerous world of freedom. Rango is forced to step up and stand out. He must become sheriff and protect the other creatures, granted he only got the job because he accidentally killed a hawk, but hey it’s the circle of life.
As far as kid’s movies go, it doesn’t look bad and it’s gotten some good reviews from critics who’ve seen early screenings. Basically, if you’re kid’s are going to drag you to a movie, it could be worse. Plus, if you’re a fan of westerns you may like the film, as it’s set in a sort of animal version of the wild west.
Unsurprisingly, a video game has also been made. The game doesn’t follow the same plot as the movie; instead it serves as a sequel. The game has been praised for its graphics and is available on PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and NDS. Additional, a series of Flash games, starring Rango, will be put online tomorrow to coincide with the release of the film.
Rango hits cinemas worldwide tomorrow the 4th of March. Check out the trailer below and don’t forget to vote and leave a comment below.
