Iron Fist has been cast

The wait is over, Finn Jones is Iron Fist.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the British actor, best known for playing Ser Loras Tyrell in HBO’s Game of Thrones, has been cast as Danny Rand aka Iron Fist in the fourth Marvel Netflix show.

Jones’ casting puts an end to rumours that the shows production was delayed or even cancelled. Though the character is white in the comics, fans have expressed an interesting in seeing an Asian actor take the role.

It’ll be a while before any footage of Iron Fist is released, but, with Daredevil season 2 and Luke Cage on the horizon, it’s a good time to be a Marvel fan.
