Results of my All Nighter

I’m just writing to let people know that I survived my all nighter.  I had a friend that came over and helped keep me focused, and at times distracted.  I finished my thesis a few minutes after five, left my friend home, then came back to print, which took a while.  I haven’t really had a lot of sleep since then, but that’s not unusual for me.

I thought it’d be a good idea to let you guys know what tips worked and what ones didn’t.  I lowered the light on my computer screen and it really worked, my eyes did not get strained at all.  I avoided caffeine, but not sugar.  Instead of eating apples I just didn’t eat, it wasn’t planned it just ended up that way, when I started to feel hungry I ate some chocolate and I didn’t crash.  In fact, there weren’t any times were I was really on the verge of falling asleep.  Having a friend over was a good idea, I would have worked faster alone, but I may have given in if it weren’t for her.  I drank so much water at the start, but then I just couldn’t drink anymore.

I would definitely do this again; it wasn’t a bad experience at all.  I got a lot of work done.  So if you’re behind on work I’d recommend it, but definitely follow the tips, even the ones I didn’t like because everyone’s different.

Also I updated the NPG post, below.

What do you think?  Do you have a lot of work to do?  Are you going to do an all nighter?  Let me know by voting and leaving a comment below.  Don’t forget to subscribe.
