There’s a Song Trapped in my Brain

Yesterday, due to technical difficulties, you may have noticed only a picture was posted.  Well I’d like to apologise for that and here’s the rest of the post.

Have you ever had a song lodged in your head and just not been able to get it out?  Well it get’s annoying fast.  Plus, it seems to mostly happen with songs I don’t even like, maybe that’s just me.

Did you know that scientists don’t know why songs get stuck in our minds?  To be honest I was a little surprised people were even looking into it, what with all the life threatening diseases that still need to be cured.  Then again, with singers like Justin Bieber out there, songs being trapped in your brain can get dangerous.  So far researchers do know what part of the brain causes this, potentially, annoying musical problem.

Sometimes you may get lucky though, and get a really good song imprisoned within the depths of your mind, in which case, it’s probably best to go with it and not ask any questions.  There are some songs that I avoid, because I know they’ll stick in my head if I hear them.  Actually, there is one song that always latches on, but it’s a good song so I don’t mind (see video below).

Have you ever had a song stuck in your brain?  Do mostly bad songs stick with you?  Do you have a song trapped inside you right now, if so what is it?  Let me know by voting and leaving a comment below.

Song I like to get stuck in my head (let’s just hope Glee doesn’t cover it).

Adele rolling in the deep is stuck in my head atm…. Usually the song that gets stuck in my head 4 the day is the first song I listen 2 in the morning….sometimes I love having a song stuck in my head coz it can make things more interesting other times it can get annoying if you can’t get past a certain bit in the song
