Just Go with It

Just Go with It is the next, in a long line of, Adam Sandler film.  It comes to cinemas on the 11th of February, so keep an eye out for it if you’re a fan of romantic comedies.

The movie stars Adam Sandler as, plastic surgeon, Danny Maccabee.  In a ploy to get women to sleep with him, Danny pretends to be unhappily married.  Then he meets the girl of his dream, who he doesn’t do his trick on.  Unfortunately she finds the ring in his pocket, he tells her he’s getting divorced and she demands to hear it from his, pretend, wife.  This is where Jenifer Aniston comes in; she plays Katherine, Danny’s office manager, who agrees to pose as his wife.  Things become more complicated when Katherine’s kids get dragged into the lie.

Although the plot, like most Rom-Coms, isn’t exactly creative, Sandler’s recent movie, Grown Ups, has revived my confidence in him.  He may actually be able to pull off this ridiculous Proposal rip-off.  If that hasn’t convinced you to see this movie then you should probably know that it was directed by Dennis Dugan, who previously directed the Adam Sandler films; Happy Gilmore, Big Daddy, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, You Don’t Mess with the Zohan and Grown Ups.

Are you excited about this film?  Would you mess with the Zohan?  Let me know by voting and leaving a comment below.
