Back to the Future: The Game
Before I get into the main post I’d just like to say congratulations to my friend Amy for passing her theory test. Also I want to point out that my Christmas decorations have been taken down in my house and on my blog. It’s nice to be back to basics.
Back to the Future has a special place in the hearts of movie goers worldwide; there is no denying that it is a classic. It’s hard to believe that Eric Stoltz was originally cast to play Marty Mcfly. Think of how different the movie would have been had he not been replaced.
Many things were done to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the original movie. The most recent of these is the Back to the Future game. It is split into five episodes; the first became available on the 22nd of December 2010. So far this is the only episode that’s available, but it got great reviews, even though it doesn’t look the best. Check out the trailer at the end to see for yourself.
The story is follows on from where Back to the Future III left off. The time machine arrives with a message from telling Marty to go to 1931 to save Doc. Players can explore a 3D world and even talk to NPC’s (Non-Playable Characters). I know it sounds like I’m bragging that you can walk and talk, but hey it’s Back to the Future. The game has been released across platforms, so if you’re reading this you have the equipment required to play the game.
