Fred: The Movie

Hey just a quick announcement first.  Well I’ve felt guilty all day because I asked my friend Robbie to take pictures of me off his blog, because I hate pictures with me in them.  Anyway he took it down which kind of ruined his post, because there was a joke about Star Wars which featured pictures of my other friend and I having a snow war.  Anyway just thought I’d thank him for taking it down, as most people would have just ignored my request.  Then again, it was pointed out to me that there’s already pictures of me up on facebook so if you want Robbie you can put them back up (Hitler joke and all).  You don’t have to but you have my blessing anyway.

Now for the actual post.  Internet star Fred is getting a movie.  The movie will feature, pop star, Pixie Lott as Judy (Fred’s crush), Jake Weary as kevin (Freds arch enemy), and of course, Lucas Cruikshank as Fred.  This movie will mark the film debut of Lott, as well as the first time Cruikshank has appeared, as Fred, in anything other than his videos.  However Cruikshank has guest starred, as himself, in an episode of i-carly.  The episode did feature a scene were Lucas portrays Fred, but it’s not canon so I’m not counting it.

Nickelodean are hoping to launch this into a franchise, which seems odd, because if you read the comments on a Fred video it’s hard to find a friendly one.  In fact people have dedicated videos to killing friend, my favourite one is featured below.

The film will be getting a theatrical release in Ireland and England on the 17th of December, but everywhere else just gets to watch it on Nickelodean, or buy the DVD.  Personally I can’t imagine it’s going to be good, but hey you have to give Lucas some credit, 17 years old and he’s invented a character now making his way to the big screen.

Vote and comment below to let me know what you think.

    • Lucky you never hearing of Fred ha,
And I know I’m actually mental ha but no one ever actually takes down pictures when I ask, even if I beg. Hence why there are pictures on my facebook page when I don’t have a camera and I don’t no how to put pictures from my phone online, people just post pictures of me up and tag me 😦
