Okay so I’m not sure about the rest of the world, but here in Irish the streets are covered with white gold (snow). Children are throwing snowballs at cards, which cause accidents on the icy roads, killing thousands. No one cares about those unlucky saps though, because we’re all too busy using their mangled body’s as a base to keep our snowmen up.
I know the picture I’m painting is dark and gritty, but I spent two hours, by myself, building a snowman. This hasn’t turned me off the snow, however it did jeopardise my fingers and toes. Actually at one stage, when I was building his head, the snow started to freeze and therefore not stick together very well. I stuck at it though and eventually I was finished.
Have you ever met someone whose sole purpose in life is to destroy things that other people create? They’re the ones that walk through your sand castle, spill drinks on anything water soluble within a 5 kilometre radius, drop glass, knock over snowman, etc. You have? What a surprise. Well I live with one and I’m guarding my snowman with my life. Not because I want to save it, no it’s actually because it caused me so much pain to make that I want to see him slowly melt away into a puddle.
Another upside to the snowy weather is that my college is closed. Starting tomorrow all classes have stopped until further notice. So I guess that means I’m officially on my weekend now yay.
What do you like to do in the snow? What’s the strangest thing you’ve ever build out of snow? When I was a kid I built an igloo. It fit 3 kids in it at a time, but one had to sit in the doorway. Do you even like snow? Let me know by commenting and voting. Also to celebrate the snow and the month of December I’ve changed the poll colour to white.
